In my last analysis (last Thursday) I made the assumption that the index will move above the 21-day simple moving average and above the resistance level around 343 points, then will retests these resistances and if successful, chances (at least in the short term) will go the side of the bulls. This retest is happening today. It could consist of one or several bars. A signal the retest is completed will be a movement away from the SMA21 and the resisting level-upwards (unsuccessful retest) or down (successful). The indicators, that I’m using, are continuing to suggest a greater probability of failure: divergence between the index and MACD and RSI, the trend slowing and the short negative trendline breakout, EMA 5 has a positive slope and is located above the SMA 21.
